The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) shall grant a limited amount of financial support for the participation of professionals from Latin-American State Members. In order to be considered as candidates and obtain such support, the following criteria must be complied with:
1. Count on a scientific paper accepted by the Scientific Committee to be presented at the Congress sessions. Papers must be directly related to IAEA Technical Cooperation projects, and especially with regional projects of the Thematic Safety Areas (TSAs). Priority shall be given to candidates with accepted oral presentations.
2. Work at a National Government Institution from an IAEA State Member, relevant in the radiological protection area.
3. Send the corresponding nomination by means of the INTOUCH system (http://intouch.iaea.org) through the National Liaison Officer of each country. Deadline for presentations is December 31st, 2014. No application submitted afterwards shall be admitted. Make reference to the nomination for the RLA9075 Project ‘Fortalecimiento de la infraestructura nacional para el cumplimiento de las reglamentaciones y requerimientos en materia de protección radiológica para usuarios finales’ [Strengthening of national infrastructure for regulatory and requirements’ compliance in the radiological protection area for final users] (RLA9075/9009/01 Event IRPA Regional Congress). The candidate will have to attach, by means of the INTOUCH system also, the paper acceptance letter and the scientific paper to be delivered.

Note: The nomination delivery does not imply the approval for the IAEA financial support. All nominations shall be subjected to the IAEA Selection Committee evaluation.
Explanatory information: In order to nominate for the financial support to be granted by IAEA, the complete final paper shall be considered.
